Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role

We are currently looking for the SRE Engineer to own and enhance our monitoring and observability stack. Once here, you will develop and maintain monitoring checks, automate incident handling, and streamline escalations to ensure system reliability.

Location:  Remote

What will you do in this role:

• Manage, optimize, and maintain high availability of monitoring and observability tools.
• Automate alerts and incident response to reduce manual work.
• Keep monitoring systems up to date and improve coverage.
• Lead the process of migration from the legacy monitoring systems to modern solutions.
• Enhance escalation processes for efficient issue resolution.
• Develop and implement monitoring standards and policies for applications.
• Provide technical leadership and take ownership of the monitoring project.
  
  

About you: 

• Strong experience in monitoring, observability, and automation.
• Proficiency in Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with Nagios, ELK, and other monitoring and observability stacks is a plus.
• Programming skills (Python preferred, but any language is fine).
• Experience with bare-metal infrastructure is a plus.
• Ability to drive infrastructure improvements and influence technical decisions.
